Happy Groundhogs Day! Today, the world's more infamous Groundhog, Punxatony Phil, the prognosticator of prognosticators, declared, and for the first time that I can ever remember, that he did NOT see his shadow! That's right, the end of this long and blistering winter is finally upon us, thanks to the worlds most famous weather-hog. Lets hope he's right. I don't know about you, but Groundhogs Day (the movie) will always hold a very special place in my heart. I can still remember my father taking my brother and I to see this now cult classic hit back in 1993 (I was 9). Of course we made it our goal to one day make the great trek to Punxatony, PA to enjoy the festival first hand. Of course this has yet to happen, but that doesn't stop our tradition of always calling to wish each other a happy groundhogs day while watching the movie from the comfort of our respective homes. Happy g-hog day one and all!
