Happy Hannukah!

Dust off that menorah and break out your finest bottle of Manischewitz (am I the only one who likes this tasty syrup?) because tonight is the first night of Hannukah! After a lengthy debate with my roommate last night over the sanctity of boxed latkes- that is pre-made latke mix you can buy at the grocery store versus homemade latkes made from scratch, we came to the consensus that if all else fails we'll order in! We are in NYC home of endless possibility when it comes to Kosher delis, corned beef, kugel, the rugelah, bagels and of course latkes.Oy Vey!
I will of course document tonight's festivities, particularly the outcome of the great latke debate and will be sure to post the outcome tomorrow.
