Nominations for the 2011 Grammy Awards were announced during a live concert special on Wednesday night. Eminem led all artists with 10 noms, including Album of the Year for “Relapse” and both Record of the Year and Song of the Year for his collaboration with Rihanna, “Love the Way You Lie.” In the Album category, Em will face off against Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, Lady Antebellum, and Katy Perry. Cee-Lo’s hit “F--- You” also landed nominations for both Song and Record of the Year. Justin Bieber was nominated twice, including for Best New Artist, where he’ll compete against Drake, Florence + the Machine, Mumford & Sons, and jazz-bassist Esperanza Spalding. Overall, Bruno Mars scored the 2nd-most nominations with 7, while Jay-Z and Lady Gaga each got 6 and B.o.B. received 5. The Grammy Awards will be held February 13th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Also last night comedians attended the Friars Club Roast of Quentin Tarantino mercilessly sent up the "Pulp Fiction" director's obsession with Uma Thurman and his fetish for women's feet. Roastmaster Samuel L. Jackson, Jerry Lewis, my personal favorite Sarah Silverman, Rob Schneider, Richard Belzer and others hurled their best zingers at Tarantino in front of more than 2,000 guests at the New York Hilton.
