This site goes on to explain the number 11 in particular saying "11 is the most intuitive of all numbers. It represents illumination; a channel to the subconscious; insight without rational thought; and sensitivity, nervous energy, shyness, and impracticality. It is a dreamer. The 11 has all the aspects of the 2, enhanced and charged with charisma, leadership, and inspiration. It is a number with inborn duality, which creates dynamism, inner conflict, and other catalysts with its mere presence. It is a number that, when not focused on some goal beyond itself, can be turned inward to create fears and phobias." This date is lucky in more ways than one and wont be around again for another thousand years. So get out, buy a lottery ticket, make a wish or do something out of the ordinary today. What do you have to lose?
In music and entertainment news, Green Day has announced the release of an upcoming live CD/DVD called “Awesome as Fuck,” recorded during their 21st Century Breakdown world tour. Front-man Billie Joe had first revealed the band was recording a live album during a concert in Denver last August – at that show the guys debuted a new song, “Cigarettes and Valentines,” which is rumored to appear on this album. “Awesome as Fuck” will hit stores on March 15.
There’s lots of new music coming out today. Britney Spears has released her highly-anticipated new single “Hold It Against Me.” The track was produced by Max Martin and Dr. Luke, the hitmakers responsible for Katy Perry’s “California Gurls” and “Teenage Dreams.” Also out today is “ H.A.M.,” the first single from the Kanye West / Jay-Z collabo album “Watch the Throne.” In case you’re wondering, “H.A.M.” stands for “Hard as a Motherfucker.” More than 6 years after their last album, Cake is releasing “Showroom of Compassion,” which features the hit “Sick of You.” And on DVD, you can pick up the critically-acclaimed movie “The Social Network,” starring Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake. The 2-disc set contains hours of bonus features, including Trent Reznor discussing his Golden Globe-nominated score for the film. Reznor recently announced that he will also compose the score for David Fincher's adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
