Happy Friday and what a week its been. Today, in celebration of the 69 degree weather (amazing, I know) I'm meeting some of my best girlfriends for some outdoor fun in the sun (while it lasts) sangria and tapas! East Village is the destination ce soir to a boutique resto-lounge called Pangea http://www.pangeanyc.com/. I picked this spot in particular because it meets my two biggest requirements- outdoor seating and the best mojitos this side of the east river. Very exciting. Of course, I'm going to stop home first and pick up my baby Bear, for some relentless doting and stranger danger love time. He's the ultimate pickup con. See below. Enough said.
In music and entertainment news today, Radiohead and Britney Spears both have some highly anticipated releases today. Ill begin with the good..Radiohead jumped the gun today, releasing their 8th album King Of Limbs digitally on the radiohead.com website. This is the band first album in 4 years, since the 2007 release of In Rainbows, so Radiohead fanatics(myself included) were pleasantly surprised. You really can't expect anything less from Thom Yorke and Co. Ive listened to a few track, and I have to say so far so good. I cant wait to spend some more quality time with this album this weekend. In Britneyland, the pop-tart released the latest single off of her upcoming album Femme Fatale set for release on March 29th. Watch if you dare, but in my opinion this video is nothing more than one long advertisement for Sony, Curious perfume, and they even managed to squeeze in a Plenty Of Fish ad?! Hideous. Watch at your own risk
